Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra reacts to haters who mocked him: 'Bolne ki zaroorat...' | Exclusive

TV actor Karan Veer Mehra has done the impossible. Despite facing strong competition from Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal, he won Bigg Boss 18 and lifted the winner's trophy and took home price money of Rs 50 lakhs. On Sunday, January 20, Karan defeated Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal, and they ended up becoming the first and second runner-up of the show. 

Soon after the finale, Karan joins DNA India for a quick, exclusive chat. Proudly holding the trophy, Karan laughs at being called 'reality show king' as this is his second big victory after winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Ask him about his feelings after two big reality shows, he says. "I am so happy, finally, the trophy is here. Ab toh journey achi hi hogi." 

Karan was mocked by his co-contestants, including Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, and Rajat Dalal. Karan was called 'cheap', 'mitti ka tel', 'lost' who didn't play for the first six weeks. Even outside the Bigg Boss, netizens, especially Rajat Dalal and Elvish Yadav's supporters openly spread hatred against Karan, and even trolled his fans. Sharing his views on the naysayers, he says, "Bolne ki zaroorat, main base dikha sakti hoon, yeh dekho (points towards trophy)."

Karan and Vivian's frenemy relationship was among the topics of debate. Ask Karan if he still considers Vivian his friend, he says, "Ghar se nikalne se pehla humne bola ki dosti hai aur rahegi. Ab trophy jeet liya hai, ab usse puchna padega ki dosti hai ya nahi (Before leaving the house, we said that there is friendship and it will remain so. Now that we have won the trophy, we will have to ask him if there is friendship or not)." 

Finally, Karan spills beans about his take on her relationship with Chum Darang. In the house, Chum and Karan have been quite vocal about their relationship. Speaking about their relationship, Karan gives a quirky reply, "Pata nahi dil jeeta hai ya nahi. Yeh toh aapko woh (Chum) hi bata payegi. Chum tumko kya lagta hai (I don't know whether she has won my heart or not. Only she (Chum) can tell you this. What do you think Chum)."
