Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan slams Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar, Karan Veer for not saving Digvijay Rathee from eviction

Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan returns to host Weekend Ka Vaar, accompanied by newly evicted contestant Digvijay Rathee. For the unversed, Digvijay got evicted on the basis of the housemates' votes. Time God Shrutika was entitled to rank the housemates, and she chose to put Digvijay in the bottom six, which led to a mid-week eviction, where the majority of the housemates named Digvijay, got evicted. 

Digvijay was close to Karan Veer Mehra's group. He was cordial with Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar, and Shrutika Arjun. Yet, he was ranked in the bottom six, and this surprised Salman Khan. Salman and Digvijay share the stage, and the latter looks emotional at his sudden exit. Then Salman communicates with housemates, and he confronts Karan Veer, Shilpa, Chum, and Shrutika over their loyalty towards Digvijay. Salman questions why despite their bond with Digvijay, he was positioned in the bottom six. He further asks Shrutika, "Digvijay ko bachane ke liye aapne kyu kuch nahi kiya?" Salman further asks the housemates to name the person responsible for Digvijay's eviction, and majority of them name Shrutika. Salman even gives Digvijay a chance to vent his frustration, and asks him to name people who are responsible for his eviction.

Despite Digvijay's eviction, there will be another eviction, based on the audience votes. As far as voting trends are concerned, Edin Rose and Yamini Malhotra are in the bottom two. In a tweet by Bigg Boss Tak, it was reported that Digvijay was among the finalists, and his eviction was planned smartly to kick him out of the race. 

Bigg Boss 18 is expected to have its grand finale in the fourth week of January. However, there are reports that the show will get a 2-week extension and will come to an end in February.
