UPSC exams are one of the toughest exams in India and it is no small feat to crack it with numerous aspirants taking the exams each year. And, some people have tough spirits that they end up cracking every exam at every stage. Today we will talk about the inspiring success story of Divya Tanwar whose remarkable journey serves as a testament to her unwavering dedication and resilience.
Divya took the UPSC test for the first time in 2021 and, at the age of 21, received an All India Rank (AIR) of 438. Remarkably, she accomplished this without any coaching, relying solely on her self-study. In 2022, at the age of 22, she retook the UPSC CSE and advanced to AIR 105.
Divya's achievements have been praised by Dr. Vikas Divyakirti of Drishti IAS, who views her as one of his most hard-working pupils.
Divya, a native of Mahendragarh, Haryana, attended government institutions for her early schooling before getting accepted into the city's Navodaya Vidyalaya. She started studying for the UPSC exams as soon as she received her science degree. Her father passed away in 2011, leaving her family to deal with a terrible financial condition.
Babita Tanwar, Divya's mother, has provided her with invaluable support during her journey. By using a variety of internet tools and test series for her main exam preparation, Divya was able to pass the UPSC preliminary exam without enrolling in any coaching programs. Babita raised Divya and her three siblings on her own.
Divya's mother was inspired to support her goals by her scholastic success. She has amassed a sizable following on social media, sharing inspirational information with her followers. As of right now, she has over 22,5,000 Instagram followers. As per media reports, IAS Divya Tanwar is currently posted in the Manipur cadre.
