Gautam Gambhir accused star batter of leaking dressing room info in Australia? Reports make startling claim

A recent video report from News 24 made the shocking claim that India's head coach Gautam Gambhir accused batter Sarfaraz Khan of leaking dressing room information during the tour. Neither Gambhir nor Sarfaraz have officially responded to this allegation. 

The reports and rumors regarding possible leaks from the Indian dressing room have increased since India's 1-3 series loss. As a result, captain Rohit Sharma, coach Gautam Gambhir, and BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar held a review meeting at the BCCI headquarters.

During the five-Test tour, which saw Australia reclaim the Border Gavaskar Trophy for the first time since 2014–15, Sarfaraz did not play in any games. The report claims that during the BCCI's review meeting in Mumbai, Gambhir made these charges against Sarfaraz.

According to the report, Gambhir informed BCCI stakeholders that Sarfaraz was to blame for telling the media about his tirade in the dressing room following the defeat in the Boxing-Day Test. Additionally, it stated that Sarfaraz is not satisfied with BCCI stakeholders, who may not allow him to play for India as long as Gambhir is the head coach.

However, the report did not disclose whether Gambhir had any evidence to support his allegations against Sarfaraz. 

Following India's loss to Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Gambhir is being questioned. According to some reports, his future as head coach is uncertain, and a decision about his role is anticipated during the Champions Trophy.

After their lackluster batting performances, even seasoned players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are having trouble. Prior to the Champions Trophy, both have been urged to participate in the Ranji Trophy.

While Kohli has not yet commented on the situation, Rohit has stated that he will be available for Mumbai's final round of matches.

India is getting ready to play England in a white-ball series as the Champions Trophy draws near. On January 22, a five-match Twenty20 International series will kick off this fixture, which will then be followed by a three-match ODI series.

The renowned Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host the inaugural Twenty20 International.
