The company has announced its decision to merge its food FMCG business with Adani Wilmar. Adani Enterprises currently holds a 43.94 percent stake in Adani Wilmar through Adani Commodities. As part of this deal, AEL shareholders will receive 251 shares of Adani Wilmar for every 500 shares of AEL.

Adani Enterprises has reported impressive financial performance, with consolidated net profit for the June quarter rising 116 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,454 crore. Revenue from operations grew by 12 percent year-on-year to Rs 25,472 crore.
