In a move that promises to shake up the two-wheeler market, Reliance Jio has announced a groundbreaking new device. But what exactly makes this innovation so extraordinary?

MediaTek has collaborated to introduce a made-in-India smart digital cluster and smart module specifically designed for two-wheelers this new technology is set to enhance the electric vehicle market significantly.

Reliance Jio and MediaTek have collaborated to introduce a "Made in India" Smart Digital Cluster and Smart Module specifically designed for two-wheelers. This new technology will enhance the electric vehicle (EV) market significantly.

The smart digital cluster operates on AvniOS, an AOSP-based operating system, and offers a range of advanced features. These include real-time data analytics, customizable interfaces, and voice recognition, allowing riders to control their vehicles smoothly. Integrating vehicle controllers and IoT-enabled charging infrastructure, combined with a Smart Battery Management System optimised for EVs, ensures an absolute riding experience.

The Jio Automotive App Suite further enriches this experience with services such as Jio Voice Assistant, JioSaavn, JioPages, and JioXploR, providing a comprehensive suite of tools for two-wheeler users.

Jerry Yu, Corporate Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Intelligent Devices Business Group at MediaTek, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. "Our collaboration with Jio Things on the 2-wheeler Smart Digital Cluster powered by MediaTek strengthens our commitment to innovation in the IoT and automotive sectors. This cluster aligns with our vision for the future of 2-wheeler smart dashboards," he stated.

CK Wang, General Manager of the IoT business unit at MediaTek, added, "This solution leverages MediaTek's advanced chipset technology and JioThings' visionary digital solutions to deliver next-generation smart clusters that meet the ever-changing needs of the global 2-wheeler market. Together, we are composed to transform the rider experience and drive the next wave of mobility innovation on a global scale."

This smart device aims to give original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) a competitive edge in the rapidly growing two-wheeler EV market, offering early access to MediaTek's latest technologies and key software features at the OS level. With this partnership, Reliance Jio and MediaTek are set to revolutionise the riding experience and pave the way for the future of mobility.
