Watch: Tishaa Kumar's mother Tanya Singh breaks down at her 20-year-old daughter's funeral

Tishaa Kumar, daughter of former actor and T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar and former actress Tanya Singh, passed away at the age of just 20 years in Germany last week. She had been unwell for the last few years and was staying with her parents in Germany. As per reports, Tishaa was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment for the same in the European nation.

Tishaa's funeral was held on Monday morning at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. Several Bollywood celebrities such as Riteish Deshmukh, director Vivek Agnihotri and his actress-wife Pallavi Joshi, siblings Farah Khan and Sajid Khan, and others came to pay their final respects to the departed soul.

Tishaa's mother Tanya Singh broke down at her young daughter's funeral. Her video was shared by the digital creator Deepak Yadav on his Instagram account. Reacting to the clip, one netizen wrote, "This is sorrow and pain on a mother’s face", while another added, "God give her the strength to cope up with the loss".

While Tishaa's father Krishan Kumar is the younger brother of Gulshan Kumar, the late founder of T-Series. He is best known for the 1995 hit Bewafa Sanam. Her mother Tanya Singh is daughter of music composer and playback singer Ajit Singh and lyricist Geetanjali Singh, and has acted in a couple of films titled Aaja Meri Jaan and Kanoon. 

After Gulshan Kumar's death, Krishan Kumar and Gulshan's son Bhushan Kumar have made T-Series into one of the biggest music record labels in India. The company has also bankrolled multiple blockbusters such as Salman Khan-starrer Ready, Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh, Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal. In fact, Tishaa's last appearance at a public event was alongside his father Krishan Kumar at the screening of Animal in November last year.
