One such example is actor and director Sanjay Khan. Despite being away from the limelight and direction for over two decades, Sanjay Khan is still living a lavish life and has no shortage of money. Even after staying away from films and direction for so long, he enjoys a luxurious lifestyle thanks to his successful business ventures.

Sanjay Khan was born into a Muslim family in Bengaluru. He was one of the five children of Afghan father and Parsi mother, and his childhood name was Abbas Ali Khan, just like his famous brother Feroz Khan. Like his businessman father, Sanjay Khan also got involved in business at an early age. According to reports, he started a rice export business in the 1980s, where he exported rice to Middle Eastern countries.

In 1997, Sanjay Khan launched his dream project, the "Panch Sitar Deluxe Golden Palms Hotel and Spa" in Bangalore. His wife, Zarine Khan, designed the interiors of the hotel. The Golden Palms Hotel and Spa, with about 150 rooms, remained under Sanjay Khan's ownership until 2010.

Apart from his ventures in hospitality, Sanjay Khan has also been active in real estate. He owns a real estate firm named Esske Properties. In 2018, he announced plans to build a theme park with an estimated investment of ₹10,000 crore. However, the project was eventually shelved due to some controversies.

Sanjay Khan not only established himself as Bollywood's golden boy but also ventured into the world of television after making his mark in acting. After the big screen, he showcased his acting talent on the small screen as well. Sanjay Khan produced and directed several TV shows. He directed and acted in the popular TV serial "The Sword of Tipu Sultan," which became a significant part of his career. This show marked the final phase of his acting career, and he appeared for the last time in this series, which aired on DD National.

In addition to The Sword of Tipu Sultan, he also produced and directed other notable TV shows such as "Jay Hanuman," "The Great Maratha," and "1857 Kranti." These shows further solidified his presence in the television industry.

Sanjay Khan's devotion to Lord Hanuman has a fascinating story. In an interview, he shared that when he was fighting for his life in the hospital for 13 months, a priest from a Hanuman temple prayed for him. After recovering, he visited a Hanuman temple near Samode Palace, Jaipur, where he learned more about Lord Hanuman. This experience left a deep impact on his life. Inspired by this, he created a TV show "Jay Hanuman," which became very popular among the audience. The show became a medium to spread the stories and devotion of Lord Hanuman to people, touching many hearts.
