Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for an exciting couple of years, with a slew of high-profile films lined up for 2025 and 2026. The actor is currently busy shooting for major projects: the mythological epic Ramayana, Love and War, and the action-packed Animal Park. Next on his horizon is the highly anticipated Dhoom franchise, which promises to be a game-changer for the actor.

According to reports, Ranbir will undergo a significant transformation for the role. Adding to the excitement, the latest buzz suggests that the film will feature not one, but two leading ladies, making it a truly star-studded affair. According to India Today, the source close to the development informed that the makers will begin filming the much-awaited actioner in April next year.

“Kapoor will need to have a different look for Dhoom 4 and before starting that, he will wrap up his two existing projects. Dhoom 4 is expected to go on floors next April.” According to sources, the production team of Dhoom 4 is on the hunt for two female leads and a villain to complete the cast. Interestingly, the team is reportedly considering talent from the South to play the antagonist.

The highly successful Dhoom franchise, produced by Yash Raj Films, is gearing up for its next instalment, Dhoom 4. For the unversed, the previous film, Dhoom 3, was a massive hit, grossing Rs 557 crore worldwide, along with Dhoom 2 and Dhoom cementing the franchise's position as one of the highest-grossing film franchises in Indian cinema.

Besides Dhoom 4, Ranbir’s Love and War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The romantic drama is set for a grand release on March 20, 2026. The actor will also be seen playing the iconic role of Lord Rama in the upcoming epic Ramayana, alongside Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Yash. Furthermore, he will reprise his role as Rannvijay in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park, which serves as a sequel to the original Animal film.
