Right-wing influencer and staunch Donald Trump supporter Laura Loomer has launched a fierce attack on billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, accusing him of pushing immigration policies that harm American workers. Loomer, known for her controversial views, criticised Musk’s influence on Trump and dismissed his “Department of Government Efficiency” project with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as a “vanity project.”

Taking to social media platform X, Loomer predicted a falling-out between Musk and Trump while using harsh language and slurs to intensify her criticism. She accused Musk of being a “pawn of China” and alleged he had “bought his way into MAGA” to influence US immigration policy for personal gain.

Loomer’s posts also targeted Musk’s ties to immigrants from India and China. “Tech billionaires don’t get to rewrite our immigration policies so they can have unlimited slave laborers from India and China,” she wrote. Loomer further accused Musk of overstaying his welcome at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s residence, to gain favour with the former president.

Vivek Ramaswamy, Musk’s partner in the government efficiency project, also faced backlash from Trump loyalists. His criticisms of American culture sparked racist attacks from far-right groups, adding to the tensions within the MAGA movement.

Musk responded to Loomer by dismissing her as a troll, but her attacks highlight the growing divides within Trump’s support base. As Musk and Ramaswamy continue their collaboration, they may face increasing challenges from hardline Trump allies, raising questions about their future within the MAGA world.
