The United States has issued a stark warning to Israel, urging it to avoid a military campaign in Lebanon that mirrors the devastating operations seen in Gaza. In a phone call with Netanyahu, President Joe Biden urged the Israeli leader to “minimize harm” to civilians, particularly in densely populated areas such as Beirut.
