Tesla Boss Elon Musk has launched a fierce attack on US President Donald Trump, claiming the latter "would have lost the presidential elections without him". The billionaire also accused Donald Trump of "such ingratitude".
This follows the US President's statement in which he expressed his disappointment with the former DODE chief, who recently stepped down as his senior advisor. Currently, Elon Musk is going after Trump-led administration's tax policy bill which the US President described as "Big Beautiful Bill".
"Without me, Trump would have lost the election, the Democrats would control the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate", Musk wrote on 'X'.
Take a look at the post
And the big ugly fight
On Thursday, Trump told reporters that the Tesla Boss is "frustrated" by the bill's cuts to electric-vehicle tax credits. “I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot. He said the most beautiful things about me, and he hasn’t said bad about me personally, but I’m sure that’ll be next", he said.
Elon Musk, on the other hand, swiftly responded to the president's claim, asserting he was fine with reducing the EV credits if lawmakers ‘ditch the MOUNTAIN of DISGUSTING PORK in the bill’.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump claimed that Musk knew about the tax policy bill. "Donald Trump claimed that Musk knew about the EV mandate in the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’.“All of a sudden he had a problem, and he only developed a problem when he found out we’re going to have to cut the EV mandate," he said.
However, the billionaire claimed that the bill was never showed to him. “False, this bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it!” the Tesla CEO posted on 'X'.
