The ordeal began when the man ventured into the forest to defecate in the open. Unbeknownst to him, a massive python slithered up from behind and coiled around his neck, tightening its grip. Terrified, the man managed to grab hold of the snake's mouth while frantically calling for help.
His desperate cries were heard by nearby villagers, who immediately rushed to the scene. By the time they arrived, the python had fully wrapped itself around the man, who was struggling to breathe.
Without hesitation, the villagers sprang into action. Using axes, stones, and other sharp tools, they fought to free the man from the python’s deadly embrace. In the process, they killed the snake, ensuring the man's survival.
The dramatic rescue was captured on video and has since captivated viewers online.
Forest department officials have stated that no legal action will be taken against the villagers for killing the python. Forest ranger Mahesh Chandra Kushwaha explained, "The man was struggling to breathe as the python had coiled around his neck. If an animal is killed by a person in such a circumstance, no legal action is taken against him."
