'Urvashi Rautela on Republic Day': Influencer mimics actress in viral clip, leaves netizens in splits, WATCH

Popular social media influencer Saloni Gaur has posted a hilarious video on Instagram in which she was seen mimicking Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela. 

In the video posted on Instagram, Gaur was seen mimicking Rautela if she were to talk about the Republic Day. 

"I want to wish everyone a very happy Republic Day. If you see my surname, it starts with 'R' and so does 'Republic'. Also, I'm wearing this white sweater which my mother gifted me after the success of 'Daaku Maharaj'. This is the same white colour that is there in our tricolour flag. I'm also very proud of my country, especially how vast it is. The population of our country is 142 crores. Our film recently crossed Rs 105 crores", she said.

What further captured netizens' attention was that Gaur's picking up of the actress's tone, accent and expressions is just top notch. 

The influencer continued, "Since my school days, I always used to play 'Bharat Mata' on Republic Day. My teacher was always like, 'Only Urvashi can do this'. I didn't eat laddoos during school, for I had started taking parts in pegeants since an early age to keep myself fit".

Notably, Urvashi Rautela was recently trolled on social media for her "insenstitive" response over the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan. In a concersation with news agency ANI, she was asked about her take on the attack case. However, she started boasting about her latest film 'Daaku Maharaj'. 

"It is very unfortunate. Now Daaku Maharaaj has crossed Rs 105 crore at the box office and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger, but we don't feel confident to wear it outside openly. There is this insecurity that anybody can attack us. Whatever happened was very unfortunate."

The actress later posted an apology saying that she was being "ignorant and insensitive" about the matter.
