Poet Kumar Vishwas has been making headlines recently for his bold and controversial statements. After targeting Bollywood stars like Sonakshi Sinha and Saif Ali Khan along with Kareena Kapoor Khan for naming their son Taimur, Vishwas has now directed his criticism towards lyricist Manoj Muntashir. The issue revolves around the language used in the film Adipurush, for which Muntashir wrote the lyrics.

In a video shared by a media outlet on X (formerly Twitter), Kumar Vishwas criticized Manoj Muntashir, saying, "What kind of language did you make Hanuman Ji speak? You then go on TV to justify that Hanuman Ji was a devotee, not God. Even Ram Ji can forgive someone for speaking against him, but Hanuman Ji won't spare anyone. You made him use street slang and then asked for forgiveness. Hanuman Ji’s journey is a symbolic scripture, and this kind of language is unacceptable."

In response, Manoj Muntashir strongly retaliated. He addressed the media platform and said, "If someone's livelihood depends on me, let it be. This is Bajrang Bali's grace that I am capable of this today. Instead of giving space to hateful people like Kumar Vishwas on your channel, why not share my new song celebrating one year of Ramlala’s Pran-Pratishtha? Spread love, show Shri Ram, and stop promoting hate-filled statements. Jai Shri Ram!"

This isn't the first time Kumar Vishwas has faced criticism. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev also recently took a dig at him. Ramdev commented, "He is a poet; how else will his business run unless he says a few controversial things? If comedians and poets gain popularity through such remarks, we should be thankful for the entertainment they provide."

Kumar Vishwas has also made remarks about Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s choice to name their son Taimur. He questioned their decision, saying, "You could have chosen any name, but you named your child after someone who invaded India and caused suffering to women and children. How can you earn fame and money from India but name your child after an invader?"

The ongoing verbal exchange between Kumar Vishwas and Manoj Muntashir continues to grab attention, with both sides receiving mixed reactions from the public.
