While the event marked a significant political moment, it was the actions of two tech giants, Sundar Pichai and Elon Musk, that caught the internet’s attention.

A viral picture from the ceremony shows Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Tesla CEO Elon Musk busy with their smartphones. According to reports, Pichai was spotted using what appears to be the latest Pixel 9 or Pixel 9 XL, while Musk was seen holding an iPhone 16 Pro. This sight sparked online discussions, especially given Musk’s earlier criticisms of Apple.

Musk has been vocal about his concerns over Apple’s partnership with OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT. Previously, he threatened to ban Apple devices from his companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, if Apple integrated OpenAI at the operating system level. Musk called such a move a "serious security violation," claiming Apple might not fully understand how OpenAI handles user data.
