Coldplay concluded their highly-anticipated India tour with 5 successful shows in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The concerts, especially the two held at Narendra Modi Stadium, drew huge crowds and generated widespread excitement, with fans sharing their experiences on social media, including a viral video of a packed flight carrying concertgoers.
One viral video, shared by Captain Pradeep Krishnan, showed a packed Pune-Ahmedabad flight filled with enthusiastic fans heading to the concert. (@capt_pradeepkrishnan). The viral video shows the captain engaging in fun banter with the passengers asking if they're attending the Coldplay concert, and the plane erupts in cheers with many hands raised. The captain jokingly asks about extra tickets, and the passengers recreate a concert-like atmosphere by holding up their phone flashlights, referencing Coldplay's song ‘A Sky Full of Stars.’
In a heartwarming moment, the flight captain addressed passengers over the intercom, asking, "How many of you are heading to the Coldplay concert?" As passengers realized they were surrounded by fellow concertgoers, laughter filled the air. The captain playfully inquired, "Who has two extra tickets?" A single hand rose, prompting the captain to jokingly respond, "You actually do? Well, hello there, sir! We're going to be great friends today!"
Later, the plane's cabin transformed into a magical concert setting as passengers lit up their phone flashlights, paying homage to Coldplay's hit song. Captain Pradeep Krishnan captioned the video, "What an incredible group of passengers from Pune to Ahmedabad! So much energy at 7 AM - wow!" The video's text read, "No Coldplay tickets? No problem. We'll have our own concert in the sky."
The video of Coldplay fans on a flight has captured the hearts of many, with numerous Instagram users expressing their delight in the comments. Several people wished they could have been part of this unique experience. "When will I get a chance to fly with this Captain?" asked a user. “Music unites us, this is why music is important,” added another user.
This isn't the first time Coldplay fans have made headlines. Previously, a video of a packed Mumbai local train filled with concertgoers singing Coldplay songs onboard also went viral on social media.
