A 13-year-old Chinese girl, named Lei Muzi, scripted history by performing Bharatanatyam 'Arangetram' at Beijing Hall, located in capital Beijing of China.

The internet is widely admiring Muzi's dance performance. Not only has it captivated the Chinese fans, it has grabbed the eyeballs of the Indian audiences too.
Lei Muzi's marked a significant milestone as it was the first-ever "Arangetram" -- Bharatnatyam's graduation ceremony in China.
"This is the first-ever Arangetram by a student fully trained in China and performed in China," said T S Vivekanand, the First Secretary of the Indian Embassy in charge of culture who attended the event, in a conversation with PTI.
Vivekanand added that the performance was a properly done 'Arangetram' in a very traditional way.
Lei Muzi has received training in Bharatnatyam for over 10 years at the Bharatanatyam school run by Jin, who herself was the first accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer to have performed her Arangetram in 1999 here in New Delhi.
Notably, Jin is one among the students who were trained by remarkable Chinese dancer Zhang Jun.
'Bharatanatyam' is an Indian classical form of dance which reflcts South Indian religious themes and spiritual ideas of Hinduism and Jainism.
