Digvijay Singh Rathee skips Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale, takes a dig at makers: 'Aaj jashn to meri haar...'

Bigg Boss 18 ended with Karan Veer Mehra being crowned the winner in the Grand Finale, which was attended by all the ex-contestants except for Digvijay Singh Rathee and Gunratan Sadavarte. While advocate Gunratan stayed in the house for only a few weeks until he was called out due to his personal committments, Digvijay was one of the strongest contenders to win the show until a shocking mid-week eviction saw him eliminated.

The contestants had voted Digvijay out through an internal vote and his elimination sparked outrage among his fans. Bigg Boss even declared the he was among the top five contestants in the voting trends, if he had not been eliminated by his competitors. After being evicted, Digvijay cut all ties with the show and deleted all the Bigg Boss 18 videos from his social media accounts. Thus, he even stayed away from the Grand Finale. Though ahead of the final episode, he took a dig at makers.

Taking to his Instagram, Digvijay shared a video with his fans, called them "his trophies", and wrote, "Tumhe tumhari jeet mubarak, Lekin aaj jashan to meri haar ka hoga; Tumse to jeete kayi hai, Lekin shayad hi mujhsa koi haara hoga (Congratulations on your victory, But today will be the celebration of my defeat; Many people have won from you, But nobody has been defeated by my love)."

Meanwhile, the Grand Finale saw Karan Veer defeating the other five finalists Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, Eisha Singh, and Rajat Dalal. Karan Veer truly was the most deserving winner, but he was threated by Rajat's popularity. The fitness influencer turned up as the second runner-up and his elimination shocked his fans.
