Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan turns into politician in first teaser, reveals premiere date, says 'is baar gharwalon ki sarkaar'

A few days after the new logo for Bigg Boss 19 was unveiled, the makers have now shared the first teaser for the Salman Khan show. The video was captioned as, "Bhai ke saath laut aaya hai Bigg Boss ka naya season. Aur iss baar chalegi - Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar", hinting that the show might have political theme in its upcoming season.

Bigg Boss 19 official tesaer

Salman Khan is seen as a politician wearing a Nehru jacket in the the 25-second clip, in which he says, "Doston aur dushmanon, ho jaao taiyaar kyunki is baar gharwaalon ki sarkaar. Too much fun, hone jaane wala hai yaar (All the friends and enemies get ready because this time, it's the people who will rule. And the show will have too much fun)." The teaser has definitely raised the excitement for Bigg Boss 19 and now, audiences can't wait to see who enters the show as the contestants.

Bigg Boss 19 premiere date

Bigg Boss 19 will begin on August 24 and its episodes will premiere on JioHotstar first at 9 pm and then on Colors TV at 10:30 pm, making it a digital-first property. As per reports, the upcoming season will run for five months, making it the longest season in the show's history. Salman will only be hosting the show for the first three months and will return for the Grand Finale. Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor will be seen as the hosts in the episodes in the last two months, as per reports.

Celebs approached for Bigg Boss 19

As per multiple reports, celebrities who have been approached for Bigg Boss 19 are Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Alisha Panwar, Khushi Dubey, Gaurav Taneja, Apoorva Mukhija, Gaurav Khanna, Dhanashree Verma, Sriram Chandra, Arshifa Khan, and Mickey Makeover among others. The final names of contestants will only be revealed when the show premieres on August 24. Ram Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat have already shut down the rumours of them participating in Bigg Boss 19.
