Redmi 14C 5G launched in India with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and 6.88-inch display: Check price, specifications and more

It’s been less than a week since the new year began, and Xiaomi has unveiled its new phone – the Redmi 14C 5G – that promises to deliver top-notch features and 5G connectivity at an affordable price to Indian consumers. The latest mobile has been launched in India today (January 6th, 2025) at 12 noon on Xiaomi India’s official YouTube channel. 

 

The model’s release comes just a little over the year from the launch of its previous counterpart – the Redmi 13C 5G, sales for which went live on December 16, 2023. The latest model comes as a sequel to the Redmi 13C 5G with both the models featuring a similar design. Its build consists of a glass front and back and features a plastic frame. Running on the Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14, the model is both splash and dust resistant making it a viable option for customers. 

 

Xiaomi’s models usually come in affordable ranges, and the same has been replicated with its latest release. The phone comes in three storage options with varying prices:

 

- 4GB + 64GB RAM: Rs 9,999

- 4GB + 128GB RAM: Rs 10,999

- 6GB + 128GB RAM: Rs 11,999

 

While the device has up to 6GB of RAM, it comes up with an additional 6GB RAM expansion. 

 

It's been merely two months since Xiaomi launched the Redmi A4 5G, which began at just Rs 8,499. The company has continued to showcase its commitment to launching phones with the latest technology at prices that deem fit for budget-conscious buyers. The list does not stop there. In just four days, Xiaomi will also launch the Xiaomi Pad 7 in India, that will cater to the Indian tablet market. Starting January 10, customers will have access to purchasing two newly launched products of the company. 

 

Redmi 14C 5G will feature a 6.88 inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It promises to deliver an efficient performance, powered by its Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The device comes with a 5,160mAh battery which will be supported by 18W fast charging. For the ones who love to take photos, the phone will be a good pick for you, as it boasts a 50 MP rear camera. The rear camera also allows for videos to be recorded at 1080 pixels. The selfie camera carries a 8 MP resolution. 

 

Interested buyers will have the option to choose from three colours: Stardust Purple, Starlight Blue, Stargaze Black.
