Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma along with kids Vamika, Akaay visit Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan; video goes viral

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, along with their two children, were recently seen visiting the renowned spiritual guru Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan Dham. A video of this momentous occasion has gone popular on social media. It is widely known that Virat and Anushka have long been Premanand Ji's dedicated followers, and in the video, they are seen having a passionate talk with the guru.

Virat and Anushka are seen bowing before Premanand Ji, expressing their great reverence and requesting his blessings. Their great commitment to the spiritual leader is evident as they express their appreciation and respect for him. Virat and Anushka had already flown to meet Premanand Ji, therefore this is their second visit.

Audio picked up Anushka Sharma saying to the guru, “Last time we came, I had some questions in my mind. I thought I would ask something but everyone sitting there had asked you something like that. It’s like I was speaking with you within our own heads. The next day I would open Ekantik Vartalap (Premanand’s sermons streamed online) and someone or the other would be asking the same question.”

While Anushka converses with Premanand Maharaj, Kohli is seen bonding with his daughter Vamika, whom he is holding at the time. Anushka may also be seen cradling Akaay, the couple's youngest kid. “I would like to ask you to give us prem-bhakti,” concluded Anushka. 

Premanand gave a heartfelt reply to Anushka’s request: “Both of you are very brave. To achieve all this in the world, to turn towards bhakti (devotion) is very difficult. I think you will certainly receive the answer for your devotion.”

Kohli visited Vrindavan following a difficult personal series in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and he is now focused on the 50-over format, with ODIs against England and the ICC Champions Trophy on the horizon.

Virat scored only 190 runs in five matches against Australia, despite hitting a century in Perth. There are growing requests for him to return to domestic cricket to prepare for India's forthcoming tour of England, which includes five Test matches.

Virat and Anushka were also photographed visiting a kirtan in Mumbai in October 2024, after appearing at one in London together. The video captures a rare occasion in public for the couple and their two children, who are generally kept out of the spotlight.
