Arshad Nadeem's financial status has significantly improved after his triumph at the Olympics in Paris. Nadeem, who has become a source of pride for Pakistan in Olympic sports, had a net worth of Rs 80 lakh prior to winning the gold medal.

It's interesting to note that in order to purchase a javelin for Nadeem, the people of Khanewal, his hometown in Punjab region, had to band together to gather money, illustrating the athlete's modest upbringing.

“People have no idea how Arshad got to this place today. How his fellow villagers and relatives used to donate money so that he could travel to other cities for his training and events in his early days,” his father Muhammad Ashraf had told PTI.

The 28-year-old athlete Nadeem formerly owned a run-down house and an outdated Suzuki automobile valued at about 8 lakh PKR. But after he defeated Neeraj Chopra at the Olympics in Paris, everything changed for him. Nadeem was awarded a prize of 50,000 US dollars after winning, which is approximately equivalent to 42 lakh Indian rupees or 14 million Pakistani rupees.

The Punjab government offered a 100 million PKR incentive to recognize his accomplishment, and Sardar Salim Haider Khan, the governor of Punjab, also pledged an additional 2 million PKR. Additionally, the chief minister of Sindh and the mayor of Karachi have pledged 50 million PKR each, with Kamran Tessori, the governor of Sindh, contributing an additional 1 million PKR.

When Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited Nadeem's village in Mian Chunnu, she gave him the keys to a new automobile and a check for 10 million PKR, boosting his net worth to 154 million PKR. The vehicle has a unique license plate, 92.97, which represents the distance he threw to win the gold medal and set a new Olympic record on August 8th in Paris.
