Paris is no longer 'the city of love', world's top romantic destination is now....

For decades, Paris has been called "The City of Love," known for its romantic streets and iconic landmarks. It has long been a favorite destination for couples. However, a recent survey by Talker Research and Funjet Vacations, which involved 2,000 Americans, revealed a surprising shift in romantic preferences.

Maui, Hawaii, has now overtaken Paris as the world’s most romantic destination. Maui received 34% of the votes, while Paris followed closely with 33%. This shows that many couples now prefer quieter and more relaxed locations for their romantic getaways.

The survey also found that 69% of respondents preferred smaller, hidden destinations over larger, well-known cities, as they felt these places offered a more romantic atmosphere. About 45% agreed that such spots helped them feel more connected to their partner.

Additionally, vacations seem to spark romance, with 69% of people feeling more romantic while traveling than in their daily lives. Popular romantic activities include walking on the beach (55%), watching sunsets (54%), and holding hands (53%).

Traveling together is seen as a serious step in relationships, with 76% considering it important. Spontaneous trips also add excitement to relationships, according to 72% of respondents.

Experts suggest all-inclusive resorts for a stress-free experience, allowing couples to focus on each other. Activities like yoga, snorkeling, and hiking can also help strengthen relationships.

While Paris remains a favorite, Maui’s stunning beaches and peaceful vibe have made it the new go-to spot for romance.
