'Lost 10 Kg in just 5 days': Sunidhi Chauhan reveals diet secrets behind her toned body at 41

Sunidhi Chauhan, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated playback singers, has impressed fans not just with her voice but also with her incredible fitness transformation. At 41, she proves that age is no limit when it comes to achieving fitness goals. Recently, she revealed how she lost 10 kilograms in just five days, leaving many inspired by her journey.

Her trainer, Viraj Sarmalkar, shared that Sunidhi’s dedication is the key to her success. For her recent dance performance in Aankh with Sanya Malhotra, she worked hard to lose five kilograms in 10 days. Her workout routine includes weightlifting, running, and other strength-based exercises. Viraj mentioned that Sunidhi can lift up to 90 kilograms, squat with 70 kilograms, and perform unassisted pull-ups. She also completed a five-kilometre run in just 25 minutes, showcasing her incredible stamina and determination.

Sunidhi credits her disciplined eating habits for her transformation. She follows a calorie-restricted diet of fewer than 1,200 calories a day and practices intermittent fasting. She fasts for 16 hours daily and eats within an eight-hour window. Her first meal is high in protein, often eggs paired with sourdough bread. According to Sunidhi, breaking a fast with protein and fats is more effective than starting with carbohydrates.

To stay energised, she snacks on nuts and drinks a protein shake on days she lifts weights. Her last meal of the day is always before 7:30 PM to maintain her fasting schedule.

Sunidhi emphasises that consistency is more important than extreme measures. She believes in balancing her demanding career with health by following a sustainable approach to fitness.
