Sonu Sood has always been a vegetarian. He shared, "I don’t drink alcohol, and I’ve never tried non-vegetarian food. I also credit my Punjabi DNA, inherited from my parents. My dad was incredibly strong." He believes that his strong body comes from both his diet and his genes.

He also shared memories from his childhood, like eating bread with butter and drinking milk straight from the packet every day. These simple, homegrown foods were a big part of his diet growing up.

Many people think they need supplements to stay fit, but Sonu disagrees. While he has tried protein powder, he avoids supplements and steroids. Even when dining at fancy hotels, Sonu prefers simple meals like salads and egg whites. “I could live on dal and rice forever,” he said. He occasionally enjoys makki ki roti, but chapatis are no longer part of his diet. For Sonu, fitness is about sticking to basic, healthy foods.

Sonu’s key to staying fit is consistency. “I haven’t skipped a single workout since I started my fitness journey,” he proudly said. His fitness plan is all about being disciplined and sticking to a regular workout schedule.

His typical breakfast is healthy and balanced, consisting of an egg-white omelette, avocado, sautéed vegetables, and papaya. These foods give him the energy he needs for his day while keeping his body in top shape.
