Republic Day Parade 2025 Tickets: Know price, when, where and how to buy

As India welcomed New Year 2025, the country has already started preparations for Republic Day 2025. The Ministry of Defence has announced the details regarding the sale of tickets for the annual Republic Day event held on 26th January.   

This day has a great significance in India’s history and politics as this day shaped what is now modern India. It is celebrated across the country with colourful parades. The main event takes place at India Gate along the Kartavya Path where elegant and magnanimous parades with Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Paramilitary forces and young school children walk while performing for the event.   

For those who want to attend this year’s magnificent Republic Day Parade, know how you can book the tickets for the Republic Day Parade 2025 and Beating Retreat: 

The sale of tickets for Republic Day Parade 2025 and Beating Retreat will commence on January 02, 2025. There are three events pertaining to the Republic Day- Parade, that takes place on 26th January, the Beating retreat with full Dress Rehearsal on 28th January and Beating Retreat on 29th January. According to the government’s press release sale for these events will be available from 2nd January to 11th January.  

The cost for these events are different. The cost for the Republic Day Parade costs Rs 100 and Rs 20, for the Beating retreat with full Dress Rehearsal Rs 20 and for the Beating retreat Rs 100. To buy tickets there are three platforms: 
 

1. aamantran.mod.gov.in 

2. ‘Aamantran’ mobile app. 

3. It can be downloaded from Mobile Seva App Store 

Tickets can also be purchased from the booths/counters on production of Original Photo ID Card (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport and ID Card issued by Central/State Govt. etc, which will also be required to be carried for visiting the ceremony of Republic Day/Beating Retreat Rehearsal) from 02nd Jan 2025 – 11th Jan 2025 from morning 10:00 am to afternoon 1:00 pm and from afternoon 2:00 pm to evening 4:00 pm from these five locations:  

-Sena Bhawan (Gate No 2)-       

- Shastri Bhawan (Near Gate No 3) 

- Jantar Mantar (Near Main Gate) 

- Pragati Maidan (Gate No 1) 

- Rajiv Chowk Metro Station (Gate No 7 & 8)
