NIA raids multiple locations in J&K's Rajouri in connection with Reasi terror attack case

In relation to the Reasi terror attack, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at multiple sites in the Jammu and Kashmir district of Rajouri on Sunday.
The Union Home Ministry turned over the investigation to the NIA earlier on June 15.
Ten people were killed and forty-one injured in the attack on the bus carrying pilgrims to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on June 9. Following the bus's attack by terrorists, it fell into a steep ravine.

Five locations connected to hybrid terrorists and underground workers (OGWs) were raided by the anti-terror agency.
 
Hakam Khan, also known as Hakin Din, the terrorist who was arrested, pointed out the locations.
 
The investigation conducted by the NIA revealed that Hakam had given the terrorists engaged in the June 9 attack food, safe housing, and logistical support. The majority of the pilgrims came from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

The agency said in an official release, "The searches, conducted as part of the NIA probe in the case, led to the seizure of various items showing linkages between the terrorists and on-ground workers. The NIA has started examining the seized material to unravel the terror conspiracy."

The sources claim that the terrorists have received training in jungle warfare. At first, the Resistance Front (TRF), a wing of the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group, claimed responsibility for the attack. But subsequently, they withdrew their assertion.
