Janata Dal (United) has released its 16 candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. JD(U), is an Indian political party with a political presence mainly in eastern and north-eastern India.
The BJP-JDU combine-led NDA is projected to secure between 31 and 34 seats, as per the post-poll survey. A few candidates from JD (U) party Balmiki Nagar - Sunil Kumar, Shivhar - Lavli Anand, Sitamarhi - Devesh Chandra Thakur, Jhanjharpur - Ramprit Mandal. The party will be contesting 16 seats from Bihar, where they are currently the major ruling party. Bihar has a total of 40 constituencies, where JD(U) is contesting as a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party- (BJP-) led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
