Sharing their experiences about the Maha Kumbh, foreign 'Mahamandaleshwars' praised Sanatan Dharma and also lauded the government for its "incredible" efforts in organising the grand event.
The love and sense of belonging are unmatched in Sanatan Dharma, they said.
Speaking to ANI, Rajeshwari Maa Mahamandaleshwar, a spiritual leader from Tokyo, Japan, shared her thoughts on the Kumbh Mela and her journey in Sanatana Dharma.
Further, a foreign Mahamandaleshwar, a psychologist from the United States shared his thoughts on the profound impact of attending the Kumbh Mela and the teachings of Sanatana Dharma. he explained, "Every Kumbh that I come to, I come running to because there is an experience of life here that is unadulterated, pure, joyful, peaceful, and full of vitality. I could live here every day of my life if the Kumbh allowed me to."
Traffic Police authorities have made elaborate arrangements and implemented a detailed plan to ensure smooth vehicular movement and safety for devotees visiting the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Meanwhile, the key 'snan' dates include January 29 (Mauni Amavasya - Second Shahi Snan), February 3 (Basant Panchami - Third Shahi Snan), February 12 (Maghi Purnima), and February 26 (Maha Shivaratri).

Mahakumbh 2025 sees record pilgrim attendance
As of January 22, 2025, at 1800 hrs, the ongoing Mahakumbh has seen an extraordinary turnout. Over 10 lakh Kalpwasis have arrived to participate in this sacred event. So far, a total of 36.81 lakh pilgrims have visited, with more than 46.81 lakh snans taking place today. Cumulatively, over 9.24 crore snans had been performed by January 21, 2025, marking a significant participation in the ritual bathing events. The Mahakumbh continues to be a grand spectacle, drawing millions to the holy city.

The eatery has a kitchen on the ground floor and the restaurant on the first floor, where 25 people can sit and enjoy pure vegetarian food.
The Pumpkin brand being started from the Maha Kumbh will later be launched at religious places such as Varanasi, Mathura and Ayodhya.

ISKCON has unveiled a state-of-the-art mega kitchen to serve over one lakh devotees every day. The food is prepared and distributed across 20 designated locations throughout Mahakumbh.
The Adani Group and ISKCON have joined hands to serve meals to devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The Mahaprasad Seva is being offered for the entire duration of the Maha Kumbh Mela, from 13 January to 26 February.
The initiative is designed to provide comprehensive support to the millions of devotees who visit the sacred Sangam for spiritual purification, ensuring they receive adequate nourishment and care during their visit.
The Uttar Pradesh government is set to hold a special Cabinet meeting under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Prayagraj on Wednesday, January 22.
According to an official release, all 54 ministers of the Uttar Pradesh cabinet have been invited to this meeting, which is expected to approve several significant proposals and schemes for the state.
The cabinet meeting will be held at the Triveni Sankul in Arail, starting at noon. The location was changed to avoid inconvenience to pilgrims visiting the Sangam.
Following the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with the entire cabinet, will take the holy dip in the sacred waters of the Triveni Sangam.
The ministers will travel from the Arail VIP Ghat to the Sangam by motorboats. At the Sangam, CM Yogi and the cabinet members will perform the worship rituals and take the holy dip in Sangam.
Hayendra Das Maharaj Mahamandaleshwar from France shared his deep connection to the Kumbh Mela and his lifelong journey with Sanatana Dharma.
Reflecting on his visit, he said, "I came here for the Kumbh, came here in India where each breath is full of Shakti. It's a world of worshipping, devotion, positive energy, love, and peace.
He explained that he attends the Kumbh to recharge spiritually, adding, "This is what I'm coming for here--to meet and to be with that to recharge some of my feelings on this."
He also shared his long-standing connection to Sanatana Dharma, stating, "I joined Sanatana when I met my guru. This is like 40 years ago, and since then, I never left."
