The 118-member delegation, including Heads of Mission (HoM), spouses of HoMs and diplomats from 77 countries, is expected to visit the Maha Kumbh on Saturday.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, on Friday said that foreign diplomats will visit the Maha Kumbh Mela on Saturday.
Jaiswal while addressing a press briefing was asked if the diplomats would visit the Maha Kumbh amid stampede reports.
Jaiswal said, " Yes, diplomats will be visiting Kumbh tomorrow."
The 118-member delegation, including Heads of Mission (HoM), spouses of HoMs and diplomats from 77 countries, is expected to visit the Maha Kumbh on Saturday.
The three-member judicial commission constituted to investigate the tragic stampede that occurred on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya during the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, has officially begun its work, as per a release.
The commission members arrived at their office in Janpath, Lucknow, on Thursday, and immediately took charge of the investigation.
Meanwhile, in a spectacular display of faith and devotion, over 296.4 million devotees converged at the sacred Sangam and took a holy dip in the Triveni waters on Friday morning in Prayagraj during the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025, according to the Uttar Pradesh Information Department.
Among the 296.4 million devotees, over 1 million Kalpwasis while more than 3.3 million pilgrims have taken a dip.
DM Prayagraj, and Ravindra Kumar Mandar, clarified on Friday that there will be no restrictions on vehicle entry in Prayagraj on January 31, February 1, and February 4.
He specified that the divergence scheme will only be implemented on February 2 and 3. He also refuted the viral claims stating that vehicle entry would be restricted until February 4.

A 118-member delegation which includes Heads of Mission (HoM) and their spouses as well as diplomats from a total of 77 countries, arrived at Maha Kumbh Mela Kshetra on Saturday.
Speaking to ANI earlier today, Slovak Ambassador to India, Robert Maxian, congratulated the Indian government for organizing the event. "I am very excited. I want to congratulate your government for organising this great spiritual event... I am a fan of India. India is like my second home," he said.
Mariano Caucino, Ambassador of Argentina to India, also expressed his happiness at being able participate in the ceremony.
"I am very happy to take part in this important ceremony and follow the traditions," he said.
Christian Villarreal, Bolivia Head of Mission in India, said, "... The Minister of External Affairs has the capacity to invite us once a year to the main celebrations of India. I had the privilege to be invited to Diwali 1.5 years ago, but nothing compares to this occasion. Not even my sons will be able to visit such an event which happens once in 144 years..."

Amid the various religious events at the Maha Kumbh, a unique 'Krishna-Arjun' podcast was organised on Friday at the Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan camp.
It was aimed at imparting the teachings of the Gita to the youth while addressing their personal challenges.
Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti shared that actor Saurabh Raj Jain, known for portraying Lord Krishna in Star Plus' popular 'Mahabharata' TV series, inspired young participants by sharing his personal experiences and guiding them on overcoming life's difficulties.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Prayagraj today, marking his first visit since the stampede during the Mahakumbh.
During his visit, CM Yogi will welcome Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and participate in Mahakumbh-related programs with him.
Following this, the Chief Minister will visit Satua Baba Ashram in Sector-21 and Bharat Seva Shram Camp in Sector-5. He will also meet representatives of the Heads of Mission from various countries at the Mela Circuit House.
In a spectacular display of faith and devotion, over 5.42 million devotees took dip on Saturday in the sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and mystical Saraswati in the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
Among these, over 1 million Kalpavasis and 4.42 million pilgrims have taken a dip in the Triveni waters today.
As of January 31, over 314.6 million have already taken a dip in the sacred confluence of three rivers since the commencement of the event.
