Vidaamuyarchi Trailer X review: Ajith Kumar film promises 'high-octane actioner with never-before-seen visuals'

The trailer of Vidaamuyarchi, headlined by Ajith Kumar, has finally been released by the makers on Thursday, January 16. Also starring Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in pivotal roles, the film is directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Vidaamuyarchi was initially slated to release on Pongal, but it was postponed due to "unavoidable reasons", as stated by the production house Lyca Poductions.

As soon as the trailer was released, the fans took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared their excitement for the film. One of them wrote, "Vidaamuyarchi seems like a high-octane actioner on the cards", while another praised Ajith Kumar, cinematographer Om Prakash, and music director Anirudh Ravichander, and wrote, "AK’s best look in the recent times, DOP Om Prakash and Anirudh on over duty." Vidaamuyarchi will now release in cinemas on February 6. The film follows a husband who is on the search of his wife, who goes missing during their vacation to Azerbaijan. The Ajith Kumar-starrer will stream on Netflix after its theatrical release and as per reports, the OTT giant has bought the film's rights for a whopping sum of Rs 100 crore.

After the Magizh Thirumeni film, Ajith Kumar has another film lined up for release this year. He will be seen next in the action-packed thriller Good Bad Ugly, which is slated to release on April 10. The Adhik Ravichandran directorial also stars Trisha Krishnan as the leading lady and also features Arjun Das, Prasanna and Sunil in pivotal roles.
