Naveen Yerneni, the producer who owns Mythri Movie Makers, visited the hospital where the victim's eight-year-old son is undergoing treatment and handed over a cheque to the family.
The producers of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule on Monday extended a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakhs to the family of the woman who died in a stampede during the premiere of the film on December 4. Hundreds of fans of the actors ran to catch his glimpse at Hyderabad's Sandhya theatre, where the Pushpa 2's premiere took place.
Naveen Yerneni, the producer who owns Mythri Movie Makers, visited the hospital where the victim's eight-year-old son is undergoing treatment and handed over a cheque to the family. Condoling the death of the woman, he told reporters that the cheque was handed over to the woman's husband as they wanted to support the family.
Addressing the press in the video shared by the trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Naveen said, "It's very unfortunate what happened. We've felt bad about it since it happened and we couldn't express our feelings. Revathi's death is a huge loss to her family. Doctors are doing there best to help the boy recover. We want to support the family."

Following the stampede incident, Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13. The Telangana High Court granted him a four-week interim bail on the same day and the actor was released from the prison on December 14 morning. Several celebrities from the Telugu film industry came to Arjun's home on the same day to meet him.
Last week on Saturday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made fresh allegations against Arjun that he visited the Sandhya theatre despite police permission being denied, a charge that the actor denied later. On Sunday, several protesters vandalised Allu Arjun's residence in Hyderabad and demanded money for the victim of stampede.
