Pushpa 2 box office collection: Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna film races towards Rs 800 crore in Hindi

Even after more than 20 days since its release, Pushpa 2: The Rule remains the first choice of moviegoers and continues to dominate the box office. The pan-India action drama is the sequel to the 2019 hit Pushpa: The Rise and has Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat from the first part.

After its dubbed Hindi version became the first Hindi film to earn Rs 700 crore in India, Pushpa 2 is now racing towards the Rs 800-crore mark. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his X (formerly Twitter) on Monday and shared the latest box office figures. He wrote, "Pushpa 2 outshines all new releases, holding its ground even in its Weekend 4. Continues its sensational run in the mass circuit. Races towards the coveted Rs 800 cr mark. Talking about its worldwide gross collections, Pushpa 2: The Rule has earned over Rs 1600 crore globally. It is the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time behind Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal. Baahubali 2 had amassed Rs 1800 crore gross in 2017 and Dangal had grossed Rs 2040 crore at the global box office.

The Sukumar directorial received overwhelming positive reviews from the audiences and critics. Allu Arjun's performance, solid action set pieces, and massy elevation scenes are its main highlights. Its duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes and impractical climax sequence are its biggest drawbacks. Pushpa 2: The Rule will be followed by Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
