Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is now the highest-grossing Hindi film in India as it has crossed the lifetime earnings of the horror comedy Stree 2 released earlier this year. The blockbsuter sequel has Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat from the first part Pushpa: The Rise.

The Sukumar directorial is now racing towards the Rs 700-crore mark in Hindi as its Hindi dubbed version has earned Rs 665 crore net in India. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest numbers of the film on X as he wrote, "Pushpa 2 reaffirms its supremacy yet again. The Saturday numbers prove that the Allu Arjun-starrer shows no signs of slowing down. Looking ahead, Pushpa 2 is expected to unleash a box office rampage during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Pushpa 2: The Rule will now face competition from Varun Dhawan's action-packed drama Baby John. Also starring Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff, the film is set to release in cinemas on December 25 coinciding with Christmas. Backed by Atlee, the Kalees directorial is an adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay-starrer blockbuster Theri, which was helmed by Atlee in 2016.

Talking about its worldwide gross collections, Pushpa 2: The Rule has earned over Rs 1500 crore globally. It is the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time behind Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal. The pan-India action drama is the direct sequel of the 2019 film Pushpa: The Rise and will be followed by Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
