The media consulting firm Ormax Media recently released its report 'Streaming Originals In India - The 2024 Story'. In the report, Ormax has shared the lists of most watched Hindi web series on OTT in India in 2024. As per the company, the viewership is "estimated using primary research conducted among audience across India at a weekly level, projected to the OTT universe in India."

The most watched Hindi web series in 2024 is the third season of Mirzapur, featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Anjum Sharma, and Isha Talwar in the leading roles. It recorded a viewership of around 30.8 million, as per the Ormax Media report. The second entry in the list is also an Amazon Prime Video show with 28.2 million views. It is the third season of Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, and Chandan Roy-starrer Panchayat.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's OTT debut series Heeramandi on Netflix takes the third spot with the viewership of 21.5 million. It featured a strong ensemble of Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Richa Chadha, Aditi Roy Hydari, and Sharmin Segal. Prime Video and Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi, is the fourth most watched Hindi web series in India last year with 19.5 million views. The Disney+ Hotstar show Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar rounds off the top five with estimated viewership of 16 million.

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Citadel: Honey Bunny, Kota Factory Season 3, Taaza Khabar Season 2, The Legend of Hanuman Season 5, and Mismatched Season 3 are the next five web series in the Ormax Media report. The top fifteen list is dominated by Amazon Prime Video and Netflix India with five shows each.
