Nikita is India’s most successful female professional poker player. She is also known as a trailblazer, combining high-stakes poker prowess with strategic TV play and active advocacy for women in mental sports.

Nikita Luther: The first Indian to win WSOP

Nikita started her career in 2010 by playing casual poker on Zynga (2010). By 2015, Nikita turned pro in poker after playing a friend’s birthday cash game. In the same year, she won the ladies' event at the India Poker Championship (Goa). In 2017, Nikita became the first Indian woman to win the Macau Poker Cup team event (with Raghav Bansal); secured 5th at Aria Poker Classic, Las Vegas ($65,000). A year later,  Nikita settled the $1,000 Tag‑Team No‑Limit Hold’em title at WSOP in Las Vegas, earning a gold bracelet, becoming India’s first female WSOP bracelet winner.

Nikita Luther's prospering career in poker 

Nikita has worked in a COO position at Poker Sports League India. She was also appointed as brand ambassador for Natural8 India since October 2023; previously associated with Spartan Poker and Adda52. She also delivered a TEDx talk at IIFT Kolkata in 2020.
