The animated film Mahavatar Narsimha narrates the story of faith and hope through Bhakt Prahlad and how Lord Vishnu, in the form of Narsimha, descends to vanquish evil and restore humanity. It will release in cinemas on April 3.
The makers unveiled the teaser of the upcoming animated film Mahavatar Narsimha on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on Tuesday, January 14. The film will mark the beginning of the Mahavatar series, which is set to present the stories of multiple avatars of Lord Vishnu.
The film's teaser logline is, "When Faith is Challenged, He Appears. In a World torn apart by Darkness and Chaos. Witness the Appearance of the most Ferocious, The Half-Man, Half-Lion Avatar-Lord Vishnu's Most Powerful Incarnation. Unleash the Fury Witness the Roar of Mahavatar Narsimha. The much-awaited animated film narrates the story of faith and hope through Bhakt Prahlad and how Lord Vishnu, in the form of Narsimha, descends to vanquish evil and restore humanity. The makers truly believes this is a story that deserves to be told. As this is a highly vibrant and unique world, the creators decided that an animated film would be the best medium to bring the story to life, allowing them to overcome any limitations in its presentation.
Mahavatar Narsimha is directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Kleem Productions., in collaboration with Hombale Films. The animated film will also be released in 3D and in five Indian languages on April 3, 2025.
