Here's exactly what Premanand Maharaj told Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Vamika

Power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, along with their two kids, recently visited renowned spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj at Vrindavan Dham. A video of their visit has gone viral on social media, showing the couple seeking blessings from the spiritual guru and engaging in a conversation with him. 

In the clip, the Maharaj asks if they are doing well, to which Virat responds with a smile and a nod. Anushka is heard reminiscing about her previous visit, mentioning how she had many questions, only to find other devotees raising similar ones. "Last time we came, I had some questions in my mind. I thought I would ask something, but everyone sitting there had already asked similar things. It felt like I was speaking with you within our own heads. The next day, I would open Ekantik Vartalap (Premanand's sermons streamed online), and someone would be asking the same question,” she says.

Replying to Anushka, Premanand Maharaj says (in Hindi), “These guys are very brave. To devote yourself to God after achieving such fame in the world is quite a difficult thing. We think that your (Anushka's) devotion towards God would have an impact on him (Kohli) as well." 

Anushka further asked, "I would like to ask you to give us prem-bhakti (divine love)."Anushka was seen carrying their younger child, Akaay. While the 'Sui Dhaaga' actress was speaking to the spiritual leader, Virat was seen holding their elder daughter, Vamika, and interacting with her.

The spiritual leader commended Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma for their devotion to spirituality despite their celebrity status. He particularly praised Anushka for keeping Virat grounded and faithful amidst his immense success.

Virat has faced criticism lately for India's underwhelming performance in the recent Test series against Australia. The spiritual guru emphasized the importance of perseverance and spiritual practice, even in the face of adversity. He said that hard work and dedication can sometimes fail, but that shouldn't deter one from spiritual practice, in tough moments, patience and focus are key.

Meanwhile, this is the second time the couple has visited Premanand Ji. Their first visit was in January 2023. The couple has also attended several kirtans together, including one in London and another in Mumbai last October.
