The ticket booking app announced the sale of tickets to the Coldplay Mumbai concert. However, the news left netizens miffed.
The popular rock band, Coldplay are returning to Mumbai with Music Of The Spheres World Tour for the additional gigs and limited tickets are available for the big concert. BookMyShow made this announcement on their social media, and it was met with mixed and negative reactions.
Several fans of the band expressed their discontent, anger, and frustration about why these tickets were not made available before. On Saturday, the ticketing platform informed the release of additional tickets for shows which will take place on January 18, 19 and 21 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
On Instagram, it was announced that the new batch of tickets will be available exclusively on the BookMyShow app from January 11 at 4 pm IST. Sharing the post with the caption that reads, "Additional tickets for the Mumbai shows will be released today, 11th January, 4PM IST for Music Of The Spheres World Tour - India."
As soon as the post was uploaded, netizens dropped their reactions and expressed their disappointment. An internet user wrote, "This is what it feels like when you keep going back to an ex, hoping everything would be different this time." Another internet user wrote, "Ab kya achaar dalenge iska." A netizen wrote, "If the tickets were sold out and the stadium did not have the capacity how can there be more additions?" Another netizen wrote, "Han flights hotel mei 20-25k kharcha karke concert dekhne jau. Ambani ka aulad hai hum."
About Coldplay concert
Coldplay is all set to return to India over eight years after their maiden performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai in November 2016. The British band will perform at five concerts across two cities. Coldplay will kick off their India tour in 2025 with a concert at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 2025. It will follow up with two more concerts at the same venue – on January 19 and January 21 respectively.
