Over the years, Bigg Boss has offered varying amounts of prize money. In its early seasons, the prize was Rs 1 Crore for the winners. However, as the show progressed, the amount fluctuated, with some seasons offering as little as Rs 30 lakh, like in Bigg Boss 12.
In the more recent seasons, the prize money has settled around Rs 50 lakh. For instance, Bigg Boss 16 awarded Rs 31.8 lakh, while Bigg Boss 17 raised the prize back to Rs 50 lakh, keeping the excitement high for viewers. In Bigg Boss 18, the winning amount is Rs 50 lakh. There is no prize money for the runner ups.
