Allu Arjun fans 'forced' to watch Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John amid Pushpa 2 controversy: Watch

A video from Raj Mandir Cinema in Jaipur went viral inwhich Allu Arjun fanss are claiming that they were made to watch Varun Dhawan's newly released film Baby John instead of Pushpa: 2 The Rule, for which they had booked tickets.

On Christmas, people had planned to watch Pushpa 2 with their friends and family, but were disheartened to find out that the morning show had been cancelled without any prior notice. The video shows people explaining that they had booked their tickets days in advance.

However, when they arrived at the cinema on December 25 (Wednesday), they were told by the theater staff that the 10:45 AM show was canceled, and instead, Baby John was being played.

Since neither the theater management nor the online ticketing platform, BookMyShow, provided any prior notice about the cancellation, the frustrated audience sought an explanation and caused a commotion outside the cinema. They stated that they had not received any message or notification regarding the change of movie, and their ticket fees were not refunded either. They raised concerns about how another film was being shown without any prior notice.

As per media reports, the cinema staff explained that the switch was made based on a decision by the film's producers, and they had no authority over the change. After hearing this, some viewers chose to watch Baby John, while others decided to leave the theater. Several individuals criticized the theater management for poor handling of the situation and voiced their protests.

One of the fans said, "I had booked tickets for Pushpa 2 on the BookMyShow on 21st December, but when I came here, they said that the show is cancelled, and that I will have to watch the other show forcibly," a person said.

Another one mentioned, "They said the 10:45 am show is cancelled, the 2:30 pm show will go on as usual. They said that the cancellation was done by the producers. I have neither received a refund from BookMyShow nor any notification."

Baby John hit theaters on Wednesday, featuring a special appearance by the iconic Salman Khan. The film stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role, with Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff playing pivotal parts. The movie has received a mixed response from audiences so far.
