However, they are a few who clear the examination and set examples for everyone out there. One such notable name is Donuru Ananya Reddy, who secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 3 in UPSC CSE 2023.

Who is Donuru Ananya Reddy?

A native of Mahbubnagar, Telangana, Donuru Ananya Reddy cleared the exam on her very first attempt, clinching an AIR 3 in UPSC CSE 2023. Reddy pursued her Bachelor's degree in Geography from Miranda House - one of the most reputed colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi. 

Preparing for the UPSC CSE, she chose anthropology as her optional subject and opted for coaching to ace the subject. Moreover, she relied on self-study to prepare for the rest of the subjects. 

Reddy's daily schedule involved 12-14 hours of dedicated study. Balancing preparations with stress management, Ananya Reddy watched cricket and read novels for fun. Detailing on the same, she revealed that Virat Kohli is her favourite cricketer and that his discipline inspires her, as reported by Zee News. 

Reddy also emphasises that understanding the exam pattern and choosing relevant study materials are crucial to UPSC preparations.
