Garima Agrawal's academic journey is a testament to her hard work and determination. From excelling in school with high grades to securing admission in IIT Hyderabad, she continued to push boundaries with a prestigious internship in Germany. 

Hailing from Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh, Garima Agrawal achieved a remarkable feat by clearing the prestigious UPSC Civil Services exam. Garima Agrawal excelled academically, scoring 89% and 92% in 10th and 12th grade, respectively. She then cleared the JEE exam, earning admission to IIT Hyderabad, where she earned an engineering degree. 

Garima chose UPSC over family business 

Garima Agarwal was an exceptional student from the start, driven to forge her own path rather than join the family business. She studied at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Khargone, then cleared the JEE exam to attend IIT Hyderabad. After graduating, she interned in Germany, but life had other plans in store for her. 

Following her internship in Germany, Garima returned to India and dedicated approximately 1.5 years to preparing for the UPSC exam. Garima's thirst for intellectual challenge led her to tackle India's notoriously tough UPSC Civil Service Exam. Despite securing an impressive score of 240 (AIR) in the UPSC CSE exam in 2017, earning her an IPS spot, she remained determined to achieve her goal: becoming an IAS officer.
