Aishwarya Sheoran's is a remarkable tale of grit, ambition, and transformation. She grew up in Rajasthan as the daughter of Colonel Ajay Kumar, Commanding Officer of the 9th Telangana NCC Battalion. Her academic brilliance shone early when she achieved a stellar 97.5% in her Class 12 board exams at Sanskriti School in Delhi. She then pursued her graduation at Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. But Aishwarya was more than just a studious achiever—she was a multifaceted individual with a flair for the spotlight.
While in college, Aishwarya explored her passion for modeling, competing in high-profile beauty pageants. Her achievements included winning Miss Clean and Clear Fresh Face in 2014, being crowned Miss Delhi in 2015, and becoming a finalist in the Miss India pageant in 2016. With a promising future in the glamorous world of fashion, she was at a crossroads when life presented her with another calling.
She qualified in 2018 for IIM Indore, but declined that offer as well. Instead, she decided to put her talents toward public service, which would take her off the runway and into the halls of governance. For 10 months, Aishwarya dedicated herself to self-study, with no coaching at all, and topped her first attempt at the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Securing rank 93th, she showed that, as long as hard work and discipline are adhered to, not much would actually stand between those individuals.
As of today, Aishwarya Sheoran is an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer in the Ministry of External Affairs. Winning beauty titles and representing India on the world stage speak to her resolve and desire to serve the country. She indeed epitomizes hard work and the courage to pursue one's dreams, no matter how divergent they seem.
