Meet Abhishek Kumar who is not from IIT, IIM, was ex-Amazon employee, got record-breaking salary package from Google

Abhishek Kumar, a 24-year-old software engineer from Bihar's Jamui district secured a salary package of Rs 2.07 crore from Google. This accomplishment not only highlights Kumar's success but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring engineers from small towns across India.

Born into a middle-class family Abhishek's father Indradev Yadav, works as a lawyer at the Jamui Civil Court, while his mother Manju Devi is a homemaker. He completed his early education in Jhajha before earning a degree in software engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Patna. 

Kumar had received an annual offer of Rs 1.08 crore from Amazon, where he worked until March 2023 before successfully interviewing with Google for an even better opportunity.

Abhishek expressed gratitude for his family's unwavering support, saying, “This is a significant achievement for me. I have always dreamed of becoming a software engineer, and working at Google is truly a dream come true.”

To prepare for his interviews while working, Kumar developed a strategic approach that included consistent practice, particularly in coding and behavioral questions. Reflecting on his roots, he shared that he was born in a village and aspires to improve his family's quality of life through his achievements.

Kumar emphasises that dedication and consistency are essential for success. He believes that students from small towns can achieve remarkable offers and improve their circumstances significantly with commitment.
