One well-known person in the cricket world is Yuzvendra Chahal. For the Indian squad, the leg-spinner has claimed over 200 international wickets. With a net worth of Rs. 45 crore, he is one of the most successful cricket players. He has taken 205 wickets in 160 IPL games during his stellar career. Many people might not be aware, though, that Yuzvendra earns a good living from a government position in addition to his cricket career.
After returning from a trip of South Africa in 2018, Yuzvendra Chahal was appointed as an income tax officer. He obtained this government job through the sports quota, and as a member of the Indian Government's Income Tax Department, he has gained a great deal of respect.
It's commendable that Yuzvendra is not only playing for the Indian cricket team but also fulfilling his duties as an income tax officer. Regarding his salary, he earns between Rs. 44,900 and Rs. 1,42,400 each month.
As for Yuzvendra's additional sources of income, most of his wealth comes from his cricket career. This includes his recent IPL contract with Punjab Kings, valued at Rs. 18 crore, along with earnings from various brand endorsements.
In addition to Yuzvendra Chahal, several more cricketers have taken up respectable government posts and are making a positive contribution to society. For example, KL Rahul works at the Reserve Bank of India as an assistant manager. In the Indian Army, MS Dhoni is a lieutenant colonel with a renowned position.
Sachin Tendulkar, who has made India very proud with his cricket accomplishments, was once a Group Captain in the Indian Air Force. Currently a DSP in the Haryana police, Joginder Sharma is well-known for his participation in the 2007 T20 World Cup final. These positions not only give these sportsmen financial security but also enable them to focus entirely on their sport.

Numerous speculations have surfaced recently indicating that Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, may be splitting up. The couple has neither acknowledged or rejected these reports, leaving admirers guessing about the reality. The rumor originated after they unfollowed one other on Instagram. Yuzvendra then deleted or archived all of his photos with Dhanashree, including their wedding photos, however Dhanashree kept a few pics of him on her profile.
