IND vs AUS 5th Test Day 2 highlights: Rishabh Pant's blistering fifty powers India to 145-run lead at stumps

India finished the second day of the final Test against Australia at 141 for six after dismissing the hosts for 181. Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar were at the crease with India holding a lead of 145 runs. Rishabh Pant's explosive 29-ball half-century caught the attention but his innings was cut short by Pat Cummins. Despite Pant's onslaught the Australian captain took charge and halted his rampage.

In a positive development for India, skipper Jasprit Bumrah returned to the field after undergoing scans during Australia's innings. Bumrah looked in good form showing no signs of discomfort as he made his way back to the dressing room. 

India started strong but Scott Boland's early wickets kept them in check. Boland dismissed KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Virat Kohli with the stand-in Indian captain falling victim to a delivery outside off stump. Beau Webster also joined the party by getting the better of Shubman Gill.

Despite Bumrah's temporary absence, India fought back strongly with Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj taking three wickets each to bowl out Australia for 181. This performance allowed India to take a narrow lead of four runs. The match remains finely poised as both teams continue to battle for supremacy on the field.
