Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar Reddy made history by scoring his maiden Test century against Australia in Melbourne on Day 3. The 21-year-old displayed remarkable composure and skill, crafting an unbeaten innings of 105* off 176 balls, including ten fours and a six. Reddy's achievement also saw him become the third-youngest Indian to score a maiden Test century in Australia, at the age of 21 years and 216 days, following in the footsteps of Rishabh Pant and Sachin Tendulkar.
