IND vs AUS 4th Test Day 4 Session 1 highlights: Nitish Kumar Reddy century takes India to 369, Australia 53/2 at lunch

Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj made crucial breakthroughs in the first session, as Australia headed to lunch with a lead of 158 runs on Day 4 of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the MCG. Bumrah avenged his earlier struggles against Sam Konstas by dismissing the debutant opener in the seventh over.

Siraj, who showed significant improvement compared to his previous performances in the series, claimed the wicket of Usman Khawaja. Unfortunately, Akash Deep was unable to secure a wicket in the first session. Australia reached Lunch with a score of 53/2, with Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne at the crease.

Nitish Kumar Reddy added nine runs to his overnight score of 105 before falling to Nathan Lyon, concluding a remarkable innings by an Indian batsman in Australia. With India all out for 369, Reddy's innings, along with Washington Sundar's efforts on Day 3, narrowed Australia's lead to 105 runs.
